2. Who can use IOCIS?

All PSCOs, Field Authorities(FA), National Authorities(NA) falling in Indian Ocean Region & IOMOU Secretariat are the authorized users of IOCIS.

National Authority (NA)	PSC Authority at National Level FA/PSCO forwards their inspection report to NA for final approval. User Management for FAs/PSCOs under their authority Generation of Analytical/Statistical/Graphical reports for their flag only Vetting of Inspection Report
Field Authority (FA) (if applicable)	Authority above PSCO, to whom inspection report is forwarded by PSCO for approval. Vetting of Inspection Report
Port State Control Officer (PSCO)	Responsible for carrying out PSC inspection. Creating inspection report. Informing higher authorities about deficiencies and Actions Taken. Forwarding Inspection Report to FA/NA for approval.

3. Can I get an User Account to access IOCIS?

Yes, if you are a PSCO, FA or NA falling under Indian Ocean region.

If you are a NA, IOMOU Secretariat, Goa will provide User Name & Password.

If you are a PSCO or FA, your National Authority will provide User Name & Password.

4. How to login into IOCIS?

Only registered users will be able to access IOCIS. User Account for National Authority will be created/ assigned by IOMOUS and User Account for Field Authorities & PSCOs will be created / assigned by respective National Authorities.

The user will have to use his User Name & Password assigned by respective National Authority to login into IOCIS. After clicking IOCIS, you get the Sign In screen, there type your User Name & Password and Click on 'Submit' Button to get main menu designed as per your rights & profile assigned to you.

5. What do I do if I forget my password?

Click blinking "IOCIS" option from IOMOU Website to get the Sign In screen.

Type your valid User Name and Click on 'Sign In' Button.

You get new "Sign In Screen" with "Forgot Password" Link

Click Forgot Password Link.

You get " New Password Request " screen. Type your User-Id and click OK Button.

System validates your User-Id and generates password. Generated password is communicated to you through e-mail on your e-mail account available in your User Information in the database.
